Do I need a lawyer?
The answer is probably that you do, especially if you are looking at a legal web page. Whenever someone is sued, or wants to sue, is arrested, or receives a letter from a law enforcement agency seeking a response, a lawyer can generally be of assistance by virtue of their training and experience.
What types of fees do you charge?
There are three general types of fees charged: flat fees, contingency fees, and hourly fees. Contingency fees cannot be charged in criminal cases. The type of fee and the amount are set after consultation with the lawyer, and depending upon the type of case.
Law Enforcement wants to talk with me, should I talk with them?
The circumstances surrounding a decision to communicate with law enforcement vary with each case. However, you have a constitutional right to remain silent. If law enforcement has made such a request, it may be of some benefit to you to speak with a lawyer so your rights are protected.
