Based in Columbia, SC Cydney M. Milling began her professional career as a Certified Public Accountant working in Georgia and South Carolina for Ernst and Young, LLP providing audit and assurance services to hospital systems and manufacturers. Cydney’s desire to offer her clients a more complete representation of their needs lead her to law school. After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law with honors in 2004, Cydney honed her legal research and writing skills as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals and later as an Associate at one of the largest law firms in the Carolinas representing corporations and governmental entities in the areas of economic development and public finance. She then spent six years working for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Opinions Divisions. At the Attorney General’s Office, Cydney authored hundreds of Attorney General’s Opinions advising public officials on matters of State and local law including state and local taxation, municipal law, and South Carolina constitutional law.
Cydney represents corporate, civil, and criminal clients in litigation, attempts to avoid litigation, internal investigations, and on appeal.
